Bleeding Heart......

Bordering the adolescent age

All eyes did she engage 

Lips parted not to speak

To make strong heart weak

Eyes glowed in starry night

Pearl danglers shone bright

A substance of living flesh

Natural and funky fresh

Somber was her attire

A style nobody could umpire 

One fine evening of doom 

Unknown fruit did she consume

Quenched her virgin thirst

That ascended from her worst

A murky creature arose on its shaky legs

Tongue elongated to lick her fertile eggs

Fangs forked multiple sibilating and sucking

Her pure nectar he found a predator drinking

Craved more and more love potions 

Insatiate remained her emotions

Driven in to the forest full of lurking beasts

Against the advice of siblings and priests 

He consciously padlocked his quivering eyes 

Her lapses ignored, silenced secret bell that cries

Before she could elope forever and tear him apart

With a quill brush, painted her to his bleeding heart
