Mist.......

A piece from jigsaw life lop-sided and reflective
Hazier with the time, looking for perspective
Gone are the days of blissful gyrating swings
When my struggling parents gave me wings

In a nest devoid of armour of materialistic frills
Colouring pebbled path of love, crossed many hills
Now I fly beyond the clouds of illusions, it seems
My jumbled life summons the home of past dreams

Attributing my failure to inadequate childhood inspirations
A debauched life now drugged with carnality and hallucinations
I seem to be overlooking my own imperfect mind blanks
I fumble and fume at deluge of life’s unending pranks

My parents now hang in a static frame of muddled ends
When shall I realize they were my true guardians and friends ?
